Planting cactus is the new washing your car.

Thank you to whoever performed the rain dance for us after noticing me complain about how hot and dry it is here. It worked! We were on our way out the door last night when it started pouring out of nowhere. In true Zonie fashion we sprinted back inside, called off our plans (like we could safely drive in that kind of drizzle anyway!) put on all of our remotely warm clothing (read: shoes and a beanie), and headed back outside to play in what was left of the lightening and rain (small puddles). I can't wait till beanies and sweaters aren't over-kill, nothing gets me giddier than crisp AZ weather! (Obviously, I can't seem to shut up about it.)
